Educational Services | District Assistance and Intervention Teams (DAIT)
Instructional Services' teams are state-approved District Assistance and Intervention Team (DAIT) providers, certified to provide intervention and support services to California’s state-monitored schools.
As an approved DAIT provider, IS members will adhere to state requirements for completing the mandated evaluation, support, and monitoring functions with a focus on meeting the state’s definition of significant growth to successfully exit the DAIT program. These functions include the following:
Evaluation of instructional program based on the Academic Program Survey (APS) findings.
Report of Findings and Corrective Actions.
Monitoring of progress in implementing the corrective actions related to the nine Essential Program Components (EPCs).
Principal Coaching.
Working with the school leadership team to successfully implement the Corrective Actions.
Working with content coaches to help support teachers.
Provide complete data support that includes, data teams training, and state-level school reports.
