The Riverside County Office of Education Foundation (RCOEF) seeks to provide support to students and families served by the Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE) who are disadvantaged in various ways. This includes raising funds for scholarships and implementing programs that complement core RCOE services.
We serve as an independent leadership voice advocating for groups of students in particular need and stressing the importance of education; convening stakeholders to address those needs; and linking resources to address complex problems that are beyond the capabilities of RCOE, the Foundation, or any other entity to address alone.
RCOEF has a fifteen member board of directors and is an independently incorporated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization affiliated with the Riverside County Office of Education. RCOE Foundation – Tax ID 37-1704913.
Riverside County Office of Education Foundation Mission
“We build bridges for disadvantaged students throughout Riverside County to find opportunities for success in learning and in life. We seek to accomplish this by filling unmet needs through evidence-based initiatives complementing the work of the Riverside County Office of Education and by leading the community in developing collaborative solutions to complex challenges.”
Come Back Kids Fox Theatre Live Tech Education Program
The RCOE Come Back Kids students participated in this unique career education program. The students were instructed by Live Nation Tech staff on Lighting, Audio/Sound and staging techniques. Everyone enjoyed the experience. The program concluded with a live performance from Infuse Dance Studio, so the students could practice the staging techniques they learned during the instruction period. All the participating students received a Certificate of Completion from the Fox Theater Foundation.
