The Future of Athletics & Inclusion

Special Education students are ATHLETES. The Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE) and Special Olympics Southern California
partnered with the Unified Southwest League’s High Schools in the Temecula Valley and Murrieta Valley Unified School Districts, to host six sporting events where special education students compete together with their general education peers. As part of the Equity and Inclusive Practices Initiative, RCOE is seeking to bring Unified Sports across Riverside County to provide a platform for all students to come together and compete.

The Special Olympics | Unified Sports will be hosting there Unified Track & Field event after the information meeting at 9:00AM on the Murrieta Mesa High School Football Field.
