Spring Break Program for Riverside County Migrant Education Students

STEM Center USA and Riverside County Office of Education are excited to launch a hands-on technology course for students in 6th - 12th grade. No experience is needed. Students will also do a mini-workshop on circuits and electronics.

Immerse Yourself in Virtual Reality Flyer

Group 1 | Level I - Virtual Reality 6th - 8th Grade

Step into a new dimension by creating your own seasonal themed projects. Explore the world of virtual reality by coding characters to move, talk, and run. Design your own maze game, dream house, and even create an avatar for yourself. Students will remake their favorite movie scene with an environment, characters, and music.

Monday - Saturday | 10 AM - 12:15 PM

Online Course Requirements

• ChromeBook, Mac, or PC
• Working Computer Camera for Zoom
• Stable Internet Connection

Student Materials

Students will receive bilingual worksheets, a USB wired mouse, mousepad, pen, VR headset, and project materials.

Sumérjase en la Realidad Virtual Flyer

Grupo 1 | Nivel 1 - Crea tú Propia Realidad Virtual 6to - 8to Grado

Entra en una nueva dimensión creando tus propios proyectos temáticos de temporadas. Explora el mundo de la realidad virtual codificando personajes para que se muevan, hablen y corran. Diseña tu propio oasis de animales e incluso crea un avatar para ti. Los estudiantes reharán la escena de su película favorita con un entorno, personajes y música.

Materiales para Estudiantes

Los estudiantes recibirán hojas de ejercicios bilingües, un mouse con cable USB, una almohadilla, un bolígrafo, un dispositivo de RV y materiales para los proyectos.
