RCOE LCAP Support for Local Educational Agencies (LEAs)

Support Services

The following services are provided at no cost to districts to support LCAP development.

  • Workshops (see registration links below): LEA teams attend in-person sessions during which training is provided on topics, including but not limited to, development of LCAP, fiscal considerations, and statutory requirements to complete the LCAP template. There are opportunities for collaboration with other LEA teams and time will be provided after each workshop concludes for LEA teams to work on their LCAP with support from members of the AACI (program) and District Fiscal Services (DFS) (fiscal) units.
  • Monthly LCAP Newsletter: A monthly newsletter that includes information related to LCAP development, review, and approval, including updates and reminders, links to resources, and a “LEA Spotlight” section to share about an LEA’s LCAP service or program.
  • AACI YouTube Channel: The AACI YouTube Channel hosts a repository of recordings of LCAP workshops and training videos related to LCAP development.
  • LCAP Live! Equity in Action Video Spotlight: The LCAP Live! video spotlight is an opportunity for RCOE to showcase high-impact, innovative practices and services provided through an LEA’s LCAP that yield high-impact and equitable outcomes for students and their families. LEAs may complete a submission form to have their LCAP action/service considered for a video spotlight. Please go to RCOE's virtual Newsroom to view LCAP Live! episodes showcasing equity in action through activities that are making a difference.  

Additionally, customized support services such as information presentations to school boards and educational partner groups regarding LCAP can be provided. If interested in customized support services, please complete the “Request LCAP Customized Support” form below.

LCAP Fastpass

  • The LCAP Fastpass option allows for collaborative support from RCOE in partnership with the LEA through the LCAP development process and provides LEAs the opportunity to receive feedback for LCAP compliance prior to local board adoption.
