Emily Culhan

Fine Arts Spectacular Judge

Emily Culhan has been working as a Museum Educator for over 15 years with her focus on the arts and youth. Emily received her BA in History from SUNY Geneseo and her MA in Museum Studies from Syracuse University. She believes in the transformative power of museums and art to change people’s lives.

She began at the Palm Springs Art Museum working with teens from throughout the Coachella Valley to foster leadership skills and a lifelong love of art. She has also worked as an educator at College of the Desert, the Children’s Discovery Museum of the Desert, Cabot’s Pueblo Museum, and The Living Desert. She is currently the Arts Now Project Lead for the Palm Springs Unified School District working to ensure equitable access to arts programming for all students.
