Former State Superintendent Torlakson’s Global 2030 outlines a vision “to better prepare students for twenty-first century careers and college, recognizing that multilingualism is an essential skill.” RCOE is committed to providing support to districts engaged in multilingual programs and pathways in pursuit of that Global 2030 vision.

RCOE support and services are grounded in the 7 strands of Guiding Principles of Dual Language Education from the Center for Applied Linguistics and the work being done around the new California World Languages Standards.
