The C2CT Program will be open to any RCOE and LEA partner classified employee who meets the minimum enrollment eligibility requirements. LEA partners will be responsible for identifying their classified employees who want to become teachers and confirm each interested applicant meets the minimum requirements to be eligible to officially enroll:  

1. Complete a C2CT program application indicating interest to enroll in this grant program, coursework the applicant has completed, and indication of subject/content/teaching credential interest at time of application submission.
2. Each applicant must provide verification of *one* of the following:
   1. Has earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree, or
   2. Has successfully completed at least two years of postsecondary education.
3. Submit two letters of recommendation.
4. Complete Interview process with district.
5. Sign an agreement to commit to *all* of the following:
   1. Graduate from an institution of higher education under the Classified Employee Program with a BA/BS degree.
   2. Complete all the requirements for, and obtain, a multiple subject, single subject, or education specialist teaching credential.
   3. Complete one school year of classroom instruction in exchange for each year of participation in the C2CT Program.
6. Agree to attend all Cohort Success Meetings and trainings with universities.
7. Agree to remain employed with a partnered agency in order to apply and be eligible for grant funding.
8. Remain in the program until degree and credential completion.
9. Use acquired knowledge within their classroom setting.

Applicants are limited to pursue any of the following teaching credentials:

• Multiple Subject
• Education Specialist
• Single Subject: Math
• Single Subject: Science

Additional consideration will be given to those interested in bilingual education as Riverside County partnered agencies are in need of educators who possess English Learner Authorizations, especially for Dual Immersion programs.
