• Sign up for your Talent account, then you will be prompted to pay the $100 registration fee.
• After you pay the registration fee, return to the Home Page to complete the application.

• BA/BS degree from a regionally accredited university.
• CTC Basic Skills Requirement.
• Certificate of Clearance (fingerprinting on file with CTC).

Once you have gathered these three components and submit them to msi@rcoe.us, you will be able to schedule your advisement meeting on your Talent account once the documents have been approved by the Credentialing team

• CTC Subject Matter Competency Requirement.
• U.S. Constitution course.
• Complete 165 hours of self-paced, pre-service online coursework through the program.
  • Note: Candidates that complete this coursework are also eligible for a Teaching Permit for Statutory Leave (TPSL).

You can work on these three components concurrently. Once you complete them, a member of the Multiple Subject Intern Program team will contact you for advisement on resume building and interviewing preparation.

Remain employed as a Multiple Subject teacher in a public school district within Riverside, Inyo, Mono, or San Bernardino Counties for two years under a district internship credential.

• Attend Multiple Subject Intern Program classes for four (4) semesters.
• There is a rolling admissions process for the four-semester program. Candidates can start immediately upon securing a job.

Note: You will complete the Multiple Subject Intern Program with a Preliminary Multiple Subject Credential. Upon completion, you will have five (5) years to clear the credential through an induction program.

There are multiple payment options and grants available to help candidates pay for the program. Those enrolled will not pay the majority of the program fees until they have secured employment as a Multiple Subject teacher in a K-12 public school in any of the following counties: Riverside, Inyo, Mono, or San Bernardino.
